Eric Shields is a 25 year old waterfowl fanatic and has been since he was 8.  Eric has been married to his wife, Jessica, for 3 years and they have a 6 month old son, Jace.  Having hunted in many states including Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Missouri, Indiana, New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, he enjoys hunting in new areas.  With this being said Eric calls Lake Barkley in Tennessee his home for duck and goose hunting being as that he has hunted the same exact blind location for over ten years.  Eric started calling at age 16, so he still spends a lot of time honing his skills as a duck caller.  He believes the most valuable way to become a better duck caller is to get out there and listen to the ducks and watch the way they react to your call.

 Contest calling became a recent area of interest to him about 5 years ago and he decided to start competing in 2008.  In addition to Team Decoy, Eric also is apart of Mossy Oak prostaff, Echo Calls field staff, and Davey and Sons Lanyards.
