Pat Lester, and two of his hunting buddies show off part of the group's birds after a recent hunt in North Dakota. Lester said it was tough to distinguish drakes from hens in near-whiteout conditions but that the ducks worked as well as any he's ever seen...and Lester has seen a lot of working ducks. No wonder the birds are so shy when they reach Texas. We used to complain that "Northerners" were taking Texas tactics back home and doing a number on migrating geese.
